Magnolia, TX Individual & Couples Counselor

About

Discovering our connection to self and partner.

Feeling disconnected from your partner?  Trouble communicating or feeling understood?  Trying to recover from an affair or other betrayal?  Over time, life can get in the way and you may no longer feel like a priority to your partner.  Distance fills the space that was once filled with love and trust.  Communication can break down, making it seem impossible to resolve problems.

I specialize in working with couples to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and better understand themselves and one another.

Denise Brown, LPC
Individual & Couples Counselor

The journey of life can be stressful, often leading people to feel stuck and confused about which way to turn.  Feelings of anxiety, depression, fear, isolation, and inadequacy can develop and relationships with family members or other significant others can become strained.  Finding solutions can be difficult in the midst of confusion and pain.

I will work with you to help identify the obstacles preventing you from moving forward and help repair and rebuild your relationships.  Building on increased understanding, we will explore possibilities for change and improvement of your circumstances,

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is welcoming, non-judgemental, and safe for clients to share their stories and struggles. We work collaboratively toward reaching your therapeutic goals utilizing an eclectic approach.

“Being human is not about being any one particular way; it is about being as life creates you - with your own particular strengths and weaknesses, gifts and challenges, quirks and oddities.”

—Kristin Neff
